Glitz, Glamour and Gold - Anna Dello Russo for H&M

Photos by Steph Yt. of Ginger and Lace & Bobbi Rose Photography

Matte hues of creamy gold mixed with a bold mediterranean turquoise sums up the palette for Japanese Vogue Editor Anna Dello Russo's capsule collection for H&M. The extravagant accessory range contains an abundance of glittering gold trinkets, big sparkling gems and crystal encrusted ornaments.  The blue backdrop and gold baroque motif is rumored to have been inspired by a wardrobe drawer Ms. Dello Russo owns at home in Italy, and has been replicated for the bags, cases and boxes of the collection. Seems like for Ms. Dello Russo, inspiration is never far from home. Though the collection is dripping with lavishness, don't let the glitz and gold fool you into thinking that the pieces are at all ridiculously priced.

Sexy, glitzy and dramatic the collection is out in H&M stores now from October 4th onwards.

Sparkles at Atelier Swarovski

Photos by Steph Yt. of Ginger and Lace & Bobbi Rose Photography

A myriad of sparkling adornments shimmered in the Swarovski Atelier, rose-gold necklaces and glittering bracelets softly caught the sunlight as it streamed through the windows, emanating a soft flickering glow upon the walls. As I strolled around the ivory show room housed in the West Wing of the Somerset House (destination of London Fashion Week), glimmering crystals caught my eye from all directions. The exhibit itself was a showcase of not only Swarovski's latest Spring Summer 13' collection, but also collections from a notable set of designers including shoe extraordinaire Nicholas Kirkwood and renowned fashion designer Christopher Kane. Each piece a dazzling entity, Swarovski has created an alluring collection for the upcoming season.

Dip Dye Craze! - pvq.asia

"One of this summer's hottest trends is a new found obsession with all things dip-dyed. Perhaps it's the vivid bold colour combinations, or the soft summery fabrics, or even the uncanny resemblance of a dip-dyed shirt to a softly melting snow cone, there is absolutely no denying our obsession with ombre. From tops to denims, nails to hair-ends, dip-dye is taking over the fashion world by storm. For those of you looking for some dip-dye-spiration, I've photographed three of my dearest ombre pieces styled in three different ways!"

Above is actually an excerpt from a contribution post I wrote for pvq.asia, a new hub on the latest regarding fashion, lifestyle and all sorts of stylish subjects. As a regular contributor (yay!), I'll have the wonderful opportunity to write more and more, so be prepared to see some more of these posts in the future! Meanwhile, LINK through to see the many ways one can wear summer's latest Dip Dye trend!

A&F Hot Guys Hype up Hong Kong!

Chaos, cheering, wolf-whistles and swooning girls littered Peddar Street in Central today.
With just a week to the opening, the A&F hotties gathered today to promote the opening in a flurry of waving, charming smiles and cheering. Shirtless six-pack built models in Abercrombie's signature red shorts leant out of windows and waved to adoring crowds below. The street was crowded with a massive throng of paparazzi, excited office ladies and curious passerbys. With all the hype about, the opening next week will most definitely be an event to experience, I wonder what the degree of confusion and chaos will be then?

Meanwhile ladies, keep your eyes open on the off chance of spotting some of these hotties out and about on the town!

My Shoot w. Laura - H&M FW12 Collection

Photos by Steph Yt from Bobbi Rose Photography

Hello my lovely readers!
I'm back again with the complete set of photographs I took of the lovely Laura Densley in H&M's wonderful fall winter pieces. Sumptuous knits, glittering gem-stone littered skirts and rich green velvet tops decorate yet again a beautiful collection by H&M. The shoot above is actually my first proper studio shoot ever and was exceedingly fun to shoot! There's just something about being able to control every component of lighting in a studio-based environment that gives one such a powerful sense of omnipotence. Laura was a dream to work with, always ready with yet another gorgeous cheeky smile and twinkle in her eye.

Let me know what you think loves,
xx
Steph
