Photoshoot: East of Eden featuring Model Jung A Moon

Now then, onto the main event!This sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing the stunning Jung A Moon from the Model Genesis Agency in Hong Kong. 


What? You take Photographs?
For those of you out there who haven't heard of it yet, I absolutely adore photography and on the side of my job as a fashion intern/writer and incessant blogging, I really do enjoy picking up a camera and organizing shoots. 

About the Shoot
This shoot is my first shoot with an agency model, Moon was such a sweetheart and fabulous to work with. The weather today was incessantly horrible. My plans of shooting dreamy shots in the mountain were foiled by the sudden onslaught of drizzling rain (my camera! ahh!). Sprinting like mad ducklings to the nearest shelter, the photos you now see are taken on a whim under a wooden pagoda whilst waiting for the rain to stop (which it didn't). A one-woman team, the hair, styling and makeup were all done by yours truly, whoo what a process. Truth be told, I really enjoy doing it all myself. This way I got to control everything exactly the way I wanted it. Moon was a dream to shoot, and I hope you all like the photographs as well!

    thanks chick for your comment, i really appreciate it..i have to say you have a great talent yourself, i think it's great that you did everything, from the photography, to the makeup and the hair, and the styling....the photos turned out quite beautiful, and it helps that Moon is absolutely stunning...the pictures look so dreamy, and i love the hazy background :)

    I loved the pictures, Steph. But i think you're so good at actual styling, that i felt i wanted to see more of a dress, accent on that beaded collar, maybe more of the background (even though it's sone kind of wooden beams - it looked actually really interesting). I mean the model is beautiful, no arguing and her make up is tender & everything, but i wanted more "fashion action" esp. when you are really good at it.
    It's just my opinion dear, i'm just hinting for more fab styling photoshoots from you with more stunning dresses & other amazing stuff:)))))

    I cannot believe it,I have a dress exactly like this one and another identical one in different colours, I had bought it from Zara!! You have inspired me to do a blog post with this dress in the near future:) It looks stunning in these pics and of course the model is gorgeous; great job!!
