Hello there!
How is everyone? I hope you all are doing great and having a fabulous first week of June!!
I deeply apologize for the lack of posts, I have been traipsing around Central Europe with my (admittedly oversized) suitcase and finding time to update with wifi connection proved a little more difficult than I expected. Now before I bombard you with my haul of travel photography, just wanted to let you in on a lovely secret that I just discovered today called Moroccan Oil. Don't know about you, but after a whole lot of traveling - 17 days to be exact, I require a lovely girly day to pamper myself and make sure my hair, nails and sore muscles are all healed and healthy. Thanks to the lovely Zooey, I had the honor and pleasure to try out a Moroccan Oil Color + Treatment session at the Hair Craft Salon on Elgin Street in Soho.

Moroccan Oil is a hair treatment product made from Argan Oil, one of the world's rarest oils and a product valued in the eyes of the moroccans due to it's enhancing, nutritious and cosmetic nature. The Fashion World's latest phenomenon, Moroccan Oil has been used in the shows of Paul Smith & Carolina Herrera and has been greatly praised by celebs all over including Taylor Swift and Madonna. Now when I read the raving reviews, I was admittedly suspicious, I mean, it nourishes, creates shine without greasiness AND keeps it soft? Um, if only right? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I went in the salon and received a lovely surprise.

*Disclaimer, unfortunately as my natural light pic of back view hair was craaaazy blurry, I deemed it unfit for your eyes and put up a flash photo instead. Please note that all I did to the photos was edit the color balance so it matched and in no way did I enhance shine/quality of the hair.

The product indeed rejuvenated the quality of my hair, in less than 2 hours, my hair went from a snaggly frizzy broom to some unearthly sleek and silky curtain of bronze. Let me remind you that not only did was this a treatment but also a coloring. Yes, even after putting my hair through the damaging procedure of coloring again, it still managed to be silkier than the hair I walked into the Salon with.

Unlike most other hair masks or self treatments I've encountered (yes! Moroccan Oil comes in a lovely little bottle for easy at home use!), this is probably the only one that really left my hair light and flowy afterwards compared to the normally weighted and slightly humid sticky texture I get. As you can see above, my hair has less fly aways and frizz. Running my hands through my hair, I feel like each strand has a lovely gloss (I kid you not) that seems to part upon touch.

Coming from a girl who is in general pretty skeptical about beauty and hair products, this is most definitely a raving compliment. For those of you out there just looking for that unachievable (not anymore!) sleek shine that you see models sporting, that is the result of this crazy amazing product. For those of you out there who do have the chance to check the product out be it via their online website, your local salon or maybe even a beauty drug store, be sure to give it a try before you doubt it's qualities. Once you turn into a believer, as I blatantly have become, be sure to pop me a little comment and say how much you've loved it. Now just to end the post, some photos from today.

Speaking of, how CUTE are these pinstriped salon robes?

MANY THANKS TO: Zoe

The lovely Lisa not only gave my hair a wonderful sparkling shine but also decided to throw in a little turquoise streak in there after I told her how much I wanted Turquoise hair!  I must say I absolutely adore it and can't wait to show you all some outfit posts with my new hair!

What do you all think?
P.s What are you waiting for? Go on and add some shine to your hair with Moroccan Oil! (This is not biased, I swear!)

  25. Moroccanoil is my holy grail product. I use it almost every day especially when blowdrying my hair as it quickens up the process – does anyone else find this? I think Hairtrade is the cheapest place you can get it at the moment.
