Varsity Blue




Do you notice anything different? :) I've dyed my hair! The reddish tinge is my newest hair color! The ever grey skies in Hong Kong were bumming me badly, so i lightened my hair to brighten my mood! hahah! strange i know, but it felt empowering and fab! For today's look...


I paired a gorgeous persian blue varsity menswear jacket that I picked up in Seoul (South Korea) during my last summer trip with my girls (oh how i wish it was summer already!), and paired it with some light denim shorts. Style inspiration for the day is the lovely Russian cutie Miroslava Duma, saw a look similar to this on Fashion Chalet (see here!) and fell completely in love! God, that photo made me crave a Chanel backpack sooo bad! 

Today was a lovely (not.) ice cold day so I played around with layers! You can see, but under this bulky jacket is a cosy long sleeved black top with a fluffy grey cardi! Ahh the beauty of layers. To complete the 'prep' look, i just added a nice pair of cat-eye glasses! What do you think? do glasses suit me? 



Instead of the usual converse combo, I opted for a pair of sleek golden brogues. I love these! Don't they look like burnt cocoa beans dipped in gold? Thank you again ASOS.COM for another wonderful piece!

    I miss hong kong, my family are going to HK in 4 weeks time but i decided to stay home in england to work!! :( Thanks so much for your reply, Steph! I live in such a small town, it's a rural countryside town so i'm not sure if i will be blogging about the school.     I also like the jacket-look and do agree with other comments that it is so IN right now.
    I remember a funny moment about those jackets. When i was in Sweden last summer, those kind of jackets have just appeared on mass-market shops like H&M, Cubus, ZARA etc. and i was going from shop to shop just eyeing those jackets, trying them on and in fifth or sixth shop my boyfriend was like:BUY IT ALREADY!!! and guess what?! i didn't and feel soooo sorry now :))) i trtied every imaginable one and didn't buy any, so dumb :)))
