Of Cabbages and Kings

Theres nothing like the whimsical and witty words of Sir Lewis Carroll to whisk us away from our mundane lives into wonderland. I've always found the book so full of beautifully matched words and intricately married phrases. It's a gem of inspiration.

Today is one of those dreamy days when I want nothing more than to slip into a charming little dress and a pair of pretty heels...

For this lovely Spring morning (which turned horrendously chilly at night, hahah be careful girls!), I paired one of my old lace dresses from Zara with my new Kookai Hunter Green coat for a kind of whimsical lovely outfit. 

The key thing about showing off a bit of leg is keeping it modest up top, its all about being sexy and classy. Mystique is that little bit of glamour that makes everything so much more magical. This dress was perfect with its demure neckline, long sleeves and slightly dipped back. Paired with the collar of pearls, the whole look was instantly delicate. 

There is nothing I love more than lace paired with pearls.
