Adding a whimsical touch my daily workwear is definitely something I try my best to achieve. We don't actually have a dress code at work (I DO work in fashion after all), but I do think that dressing up a little for work is just the basic criteria in exuding a professional vibe and showing that you respect and care about what you do. This lovely suit is from H&M (who'd have thought?), I love it when I find sensible sillouhettes in fun fabrics (double alliteration baby!), and there's always that satisfied feeling you get when you find something fabulous for a budgeted price. The Pierre Hardy shoes are definitely one of my favourite and hardest to walk-in pair of shoes, however the compliments are worth the strain. There's this saying about girls in cantonese "Yeew leng mm yeew meng", which roughly translates into   how a girl would rather appear beautiful than look after their life. Hmm, I definitely think this ideal applies to most HK girls out there, epecially the ones I see tottering around in the sloped roads in Central in their 4-inch Gaga worthy platforms. Ah, the things we do for fashion eh?
