[Photoshoot] Jung A Moon by Steph Yt (Me!)

Hello all my dear and lovely readers,

I hope you all had a most wonderful weekend! I deeply apologize for my lack of posting, life has been hectic and filled with a hurricane-esque onslaught of birthday dinners, drinks, dancing, junk parties and photoshoots. Now, unbeknownst to most I have been absolutely obsessed with fashion / portrait photography and this set of photographs on top are one of my earliest series of shots with an agency model. The lovely Jung A Moon from Model Genesis made my job extremely easy with ethereally translucent skin and beautiful soft expressions. Photography has just really been an ongoing passion for me and as such a big part of me, I'll be uploading more of my shoots onto my blog.

and... Stop.

Sometimes, we all just need to stop and breathe. 

Take a little time off, have a sip of aromatic tea, chat with a beloved friend, hug a fluffy pet.

Let's all stop, smell the tea leaves and appreciate each and every little happiness in our lives.

It's important every once in a while to sit back and just think about nothing whatsoever. 

So relax, enjoy, stop working and have a wonderful Tuesday evening.

Tangerine Rooftops in Cesky Krumlov

I will never forget the polished cobblestone paths, buttery white walls and bronze tangerine roofs of Cesky Krumlov. Days passed in a vermillion blur as vibrant tastes and colors dot my memories of the thriving Medieval tourist town. I absolutely adored this town with its beautiful pastel walls, scattering of cute Czech toy shops, Medieval themed restaurants by the riverside and its vast collection of fairy tales and myths. Ghost stories echo through the streets and old buildings, it is rumored that the ghost of a princess with colored gloves rules the castle, her gloves omens that signify the future. Black for bad luck, red for fire and white for peace. A truly mysterious and magnificent lesser known location filled with wonderful ways to spend the day. My hours under the sun were spent trotting by horseback through swaying fields of bright pink flowers, rafting down a boundless shimmering river under cloud-filled baby blue sky and biking through the flitting shadows under the treetops of the Cesky forest. From this place on, I will crave the sugary cinnamon taste of a toasty warm Tredelnik bun and the brilliant sparks of red, yellows and greens of a Medieval roast plate. Time flew by faster than ever before in Cesky, a town of excitement, magic and adventure and a memory I will never forget.

Hope everyone is having some fabulously sunny weather wherever you are in the world!

Just wanted to share with you some sun-kissed shots of and my friend and I  at the fabulous Aberdeen Marina Club in Hong Kong. Growing up, I always used to do a running swan dive off the cement into the clear blue waters of the pool below. Now my lazy days at the pool consist of chats, milkshakes, bright bikinis and fabulous photos. Summer is almost here and I absolutely cannot WAIT to start lazing under the clear blue skies, sipping on fresh fruit smoothies. The bikini I'm wearing is from Victoria Secret (they make some fabulous push up bikinis, yes! Pushup ones!) The lovely blue turquoise is  definitely my go-to color when I'm in the mood to echo the watery shades of blue.

Indulgence: Armand De Brignac Brut Gold (Ace of Spades)

Hey there lovelies,

Just wanted to share my latest indulgence. For those of you out there who don't really know me yet, just wanted to let you know that i'm a champagne adorer & adorer. In my own words, i do believe i have said "You can easily get me drunk with liquor, but never with champagne." Since hotel school I guess i've learned to appreciate good wine, especially bubbly. Every once in a while, I'd love to share with you  this passion of mine with a gorgeous photo + caption :)

This here is the gorgeous Armand de Brignanc Brut Gold. At first I was attracted by the gorgeous outer casing (what girl can resist all that glitter n' gold eh?),  turns out, this lovely bubbly is fragrant and extremely smooth with a gorgeous aftertaste. So next time at dinner, if you spot this little gem on the menu, take a sip, and tell me what you think ;) Indulgence indeed.

Funny enough, I use a lovely blackberry which does not actually have the instagram program. 

But the instagram effect is just such a charming effect that i have been tempted so many times to trade my love of BBM (black berry messenger, its a genius app!) for the convenience of gorgeous instagram pics. Well I've found a way to instantly turn any photos chic via upload and online editing...
