The First Hints of Spring

Do you see what I see? Could it really be? The gorgeous pink dots in the background, the fresh smell of dewdrops in the air (in Hk, we pretty much call this humidity) and the slowly warming temperature... Yes! You're right! Spring is on its way and I just can't wait! Spring season signals the start of beautiful floral dresses, light fresh fabrics and sexy strappy sandals! Not to mention gorgeous shades of candy pastels and some nice sharp neons...

Sadly, Spring season in dear old tropical Hong Kong means fluctuating (a fancy word for utterly insane) temperatures and moist humid air. As for the flowers? well, they're there all year around haha! But yes, the trees do get slightly greener, ahh we really don't learn to appreciate the fully beauties of springtime in Hong Kong. First time I was in Switzerland, I fawned over the sprouts of wildflowers on the street side every time I saw them! I swear my roomates found me completely crazy haha!

It's still pretty cold as of right now so I layered a light white tank with a cream cotton knit. On top of that is a ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS Armani coat that belongs to my dear and lovely mother. I had a nice little raid through her closet and discovered so many utterly fabulous pieces from Chanel Backpacks to Ferragamo Coats! It was like discovering treasure in your own home!

The boots I have on are a lovely timeless pair that I recently acquired during my visit to the lovely city of London. These are my new babies, a gorgeous black pair of Dior boots. Do you recognize the trademark Dior pattern on the heel? God, I love these so much. They go with practically everything and I plan to get every penny's worth! I plan to save these till i'm old and wrinkled, it's definitely an investment piece! What do you think?
